Hi peeps!
I’m Eva. Born and raised in Germany, but my heart found a second home in South Korea. Back in 2019, I took a spontaneous trip with a friend, knowing almost nothing about the country or its culture. Fast forward to now, I’ve spent multiple workations there, devouring kimchi pancakes, exploring hidden gems, and trying (sometimes hilariously) to master the Korean language.
My blog started as a mix of travel tips, cultural insights, and all the practical stuff I wished someone had told me before setting out—whether you’re an expat figuring out life in Germany or someone planning their first big adventure to South Korea.
Oh, and in 2024, I fell in love all over again—this time with Japan. From bustling Tokyo streets to tranquil Kyoto temples, it’s a whole new world I can’t wait to share with you (yes, I’m learning Japanese now, too!).
But life’s more than just passports and plane tickets, right? When I’m not traveling or geeking out over languages, you’ll find me obsessed with making life simpler and more creative. That means diving into smart ways to declutter your space and even earn some extra cash (yes, Vinted and flea markets are my jam!). I also love exploring how to elevate digital content with fun tools like Canva, bringing ideas to life with a splash of creativity.
And because I’m always looking for ways to shake up the traditional 9-to-5, I also share insights on topics like workations, hybrid work, and finding more freedom in your career.
