Hi peeps!
Born and raised in Germany, I lost my heart to East Asia in 2019. What started as a spontaneous trip to South Korea quickly grew into something much more. After several workations in Korea, my journey took me to Japan in 2024 and finally to China in 2025. On this blog, I share my experiences from all three countries while tackling the adventure of learning Korean, Japanese, and Chinese all at once. Can’t risk getting bored, can I? ^^
This blog is a mix of all the knowledge I wish I’d had when I started out. Whether you are an expat trying to find your feet in Germany or you are planning your own big adventure in East Asia: I want to help make your journey smoother with practical tips and insights.
But life for me is about more than just passports. When I’m not traveling, I love finding smart ways to simplify my daily life. I’m a big fan of decluttering, whether that’s clearing out my apartment or selling things on Vinted and at flea markets. I also love experimenting with tools to make my (creative) life easier.
Since I believe that work shouldn’t be tied to a single desk, I also share my experiences with workations, hybrid work, and finding more freedom in your professional life.
